Abstract

In centralized cloud computing, data, control, and processing power are concentrated in large data centers. The rise of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and the need for real-time applications have created significant privacy and performance concerns. Edge computing solves these problems by shifting the processing location towards the source of the data. It is a paradigm shift away from the traditional centralized approach.
