Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

The plagiarism and AI percentage will be checked and must be in acceptable range. 

Publication Fees (APC)

Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors are required to pay the Article Processing Charge (APC) to cover editorial and hosting costs:

1. Authors' Retained Rights

Authors who publish with the PakTech Today (PTT) agree to the following terms:

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication.

  • Work is simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

2. Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0)

This license allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose, even commercially, provided that:

  • Attribution: Appropriate credit must be given to the original author(s) and the original publication in this journal.

  • Link to License: A link to the license must be provided, and any changes made must be indicated.

3. Author Warranties

By submitting a manuscript to PTT, the author(s) warrant that:

  • The manuscript is an original work and has not been published elsewhere.

  • The manuscript does not infringe upon the intellectual property rights of any third party.

  • All co-authors have approved the final version of the paper and its submission to the journal.

4. Self-Archiving Policy

Authors are encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their personal website) prior to and during the submission process, as it can lead to productive exchanges, as well as earlier and greater citation of published work.
