Abstract

Today’s digital world relies on cryptography to ensure secure communication, protected transactions, and data confidentiality. However, the emergence of quantum computing introduces a significant threat to traditional cryptographic systems such as RSA and ECC, which are based on mathematical problems that quantum algorithms can potentially solve efficiently. As global advancements in quantum technology continue, the risk of existing encrypted data becoming vulnerable—particularly through the concept of “harvest now, decrypt later”—is increasing.
