How AI Can Tell When Your Crops Are Sick Using Artificial Intelligence for Early Crop Disease Detection and Smart Farming
Main Article Content
Abstract
Artificial intelligence is increasingly being used in agriculture to improve crop health monitoring and increase productivity. This article explores how AI technologies, such as drone imaging, satellite data, and mobile-based analysis, can detect early signs of crop diseases and pest infestations. In countries like Pakistan, where agriculture plays a vital role in the economy, AI provides farmers with real-time insights that help reduce crop loss, optimize irrigation, and improve decision-making. The study highlights both the benefits and challenges of adopting AI in farming, including accessibility issues and technological limitations. Overall, AI offers a promising solution for enhancing agricultural efficiency and supporting food security through data-driven farming practices.
