Abstract
Deepfake Technology is becoming more common in 2026 and is creating many problems in the digital world. With the help of artificial intelligence, fake videos, images and audio can be made that look real. These defects are used for scams, fake news, and other cyber crimes. This article explain the rise of Deepfake crimes their effects on people and society, and different ways to detect and prevent them. It also highlights the importance of cyber security and public awareness to reduce the misuse of Deepfake technology
